Mouse Control
House mice are small rodents that have adapted to living in close proximity to humans and eating our food. They can often be found living quite happily inside walls and other structural voids only feet away from where we live, coming out when we're not looking to munch away on our stored food.
In doing so, mice create a health hazard. Mice are directly involved in the transmission of a number of serious diseases including Lymphocytic Choriomeningitis Virus, leptospirosis, salmonellosis, and dysentery. They're also hosts to parasites such as ticks and fleas, which in turn are involved in the transmission of serious diseases including lyme disease, murine typhus, and plague. And because of their small size, mice can get into places that their larger cousins the rats can't, which makes mice an even greater threat.
Rid-A-Critter utilizes an Integrated Pest Management approach to mouse control. We emphasize trapping and exclusion (sealing mice out) as our mouse extermination methods of choice, using rodenticide poisons only when necessary. In fact, we perform many mouse control jobs without using any rodenticide at all.
