Residential Pest Control
Our Georgia climate makes an ideal environment for all sorts of crawling critters. Some Georgia exterminators still rely on heavy applications of pesticides to keep those pests under control. But more and more knowledgeable homeowners are demanding environmentally-responsible, "green" pest control programs that utilize non-chemical methods whenever possible, and only use pesticides sparingly, when they are even needed at all.
That's good for Rid-A-Critter because that's how we work. Our residential Integrated Pest Management (IPM) plans begin with a thorough inspection of the home and property to identify pest harborages, entry points, and conditions conducive to infestation. Correcting these problems reduces the likelihood that pesticides will be needed. When pesticides are necessary, we utilize precise applications of only as much product is needed to control the pest problem.
Our standard residential pest control plan is a quarterly program that protects your home against most common household pests, including:
- Ants (except for carpenter ants and fire ants)
- Spiders
- Earwigs, silverfish, millipedes, centipedes, and other occasional invaders
- Cockroaches (except for German cockroaches, which require monthly service)
- Most other common household pests
We encourage our customers to receive exterior-only treatments of their homes, unless there is a specific reason to treat the interiors. Most common residential pest problems can be addressed with exterior-only treatments. This eliminates unnecessary pesticide applications inside the living area. (And if a pest problem on the interior of the home does come up, we'll take care of it at no additional charge.)
